For a minute there, I thought it was April 1st!

The best time to sell a motorcycle is when you don't have to.

Set your price and wait for the right person to see it.

Someone out there will want that bike bad enough to pay your price, you just have to find a way to connect.

I sold a custom Yamaha Roadstar at our shop for $28,000 a couple of years ago. but it took a year to do it. The owner set his minimum price and wouldn't budge. Finally a guy came in one day and bought it in the spot.

In my opinion, you should stick some mufflers on it, or at least extend the pipes with some kind of tips. I just think it would give it a more finished look.

Love you boys... I'm a Honda 305 owner for life! Who was I kidding...
Slasher, I'm sooooo pleased that you came to your senses; it's pretty unique, it certainly has your stamp AND, to another owner, is worth nothing like what it's cost you to create.

My CB owes me in excess of €10K, which is what it cost me to buy, deliver from the UK to where I currently live (about GP£500) and what I've spent on bits that I've, errrrrr, needed (yeah, right!); which, to be perfectly fair, includes the lift table and a wheel true-stand.

Stick with it, kiddo; it's special! Write off the cost as unrecoverable -- it's no longer an asset, but a way of life!

Sascha,

Gorgeous! It's my favorite bike color. I recently sold a Kawi Concours I bought just for the color, but was just too big for me to move around comfortably.

Glad you're keeping it. Sorry that I can't at least caress it ;)

Haha, thanks guys...

Just the thought of parting with her makes me sad, so I am happy to say she is staying.
Im torn between a car for my wife though, I wish you guys lived near me, we could have restoration gatherings and work on things together.

I am really torn for the car for my wife... what do you guys think:

1. Toyota FJ40
2. VW 21 window Bus <-- Personall this is my taste (Im a Huge Cat Stevens fan...)

I apprecaite the input guys, plus you would lose me as a member if I sold her! That would be a shame, right! ;) Who is going to ask all the dumb questions that make you guys seem so smart! Just kidding...

-Sascha
