Exhaust pipes

Post by KellieLyyne » Tue May 10, 2011 6:49 pm

Well I have been getting my Dream finished up and getting ready to start reassembling it. However, two weeks ago, I ordered header pipes from APEX, and today, I get an email stating that APEX sent me a full refund. No note, nothing. I went online and looked up their information, and low and behold it NOW shows OUT OF STOCK! It took two weeks to realize they were out of stock? Are you kidding me? So now, I either bite the bullet and buy from Thailand 14-30 days out, or have my originals rechromed. Xanax anyone??? Im feeling alittle irritatible.

You're lucky you got a refund! There is usually a lot of name calling and swearing involved!

I'd have to have the originals rechromed.

Yeah Mike I guess I should be thankful that I DID get my money back. Its just another set back. Very frustrating.

Hi Kellie,

Yeah ... Kahleefornia is the worst place to get chroming done ... with all the environmental regulations and all. I would suggest calling around out of state and shipping them. I heard Nevada is pretty cheap but don't know for sure.

My local shop in Sac. wanted $275 to chrome the headlight trim ring and handlebars. I left.

Dana-was that at Sherms? I had Sherms do all my other chrome. But they were definitely pricey, but the pieces look great.
