Finally have pics of my projectThey are porta-walls from Universal Vintage tire. The tires are for the Tomos mopeds 3.25x16. Have a nice look and should last me a while. I was going to run it this weekend but I am missing the long screw that goes into the left side case cover (top left of oil spinner cover) and the one below it. So I need to search for those this week before I add oil. And honestly I have been working on this thing so much lately that I just kinda felt like relaxing this Memorial Day weekend.
Haha:) Niether are mine. The yellow one is actually a Citabria and the other is a Mooney. Customers of ours.
The photos don't show the color really well unfortunately. It's a strange color. In some light it looks a little bit orange like in the photos and other times like in the sun, it looks super red. It all depends on the lighting. I really like it now, at first not so much. So I finally ran it today for the first time. Turned the key down to the starter only position and cranked for a few seconds to prime, switch it to one up and it fired right up with out even a cough. But as soon as I push the chock handle down it begins to race so I still have some work to do. I put those Dunstalls from JCWhitney on. I think I will go get some of that really coarse steel wool and see how it runs with that in there. I'll post some pics of the bike with those mufflers.

When I pulled them out of the box I wasn't really excited. It seemed to me that they flare a bit more that what was pictured on their website. But I put them on anyway just to see what they look like and I really do like the look of them. It kind of adds a little bit to the art deco look of the bike I think. I only really hung them up to see what they look like and still need to rig them into their proper position which may be a bit of a task. I'll try to get some pics today and post here. Jethro
