hey all, i have a leak at my tach and i think its the O-RING or possibly that whoever took it apart in the past didn't replace the two washers that go on either end of the drive shaft, my question is, can i remove the shaft that the tach cable plugs into without removing the whole assembly from the engine?
thanx

so i circled the drive i want to remove from the base which is mounted to the top end via four bolts, its glued with a gasket so taking it off will just be a pain couse i'll have to make a new gasket. which is why i am hoping that the drive that held in by one bolt CAN be removed without taking off the housing and the four bolts holding the housing on..
