Hello folks. Just bought a 61CA77 for 250 bucks. Still has tag on it from 1970. Needs some work. I do have a few questions. The bike is suppose to run...........no key. I need a key if anyone can hook me up. Think it is NA2086(the 6 could be a 5 but dont think so.....eyes are bad) Also, need a shifter lever as the teeth are rounded off and it simply turns and turns. I have an 06 Big Dog Pitbull Chopper............but new to bikes in general. Ill attach a few pics of 61 as soon as i can figure this out. Oh, one more thing, i have looked every where for frame numbers on left side by battery. I can not find them. I appreciate the help, kinda excited to see if this thing runs. If im forgetting anything, just fuss at me, i generally get motivated then.

for the VIN # look a little lower on your frame. Towards the foot peg area. You should see it stamped into the frame. I have a 1963 and that is where I found mine. We have the same gas tanks, but my bike is white. When I get it all back together I will post some pictures. Have fun with your new project. If Davo can't come up with a key, I will dig through all my stuff (its pretty buried) to see if I have a key that you need.
