Throttle Controls For Flat (Drag) Bars

Post by pwilke1 » Tue Aug 02, 2011 10:04 am

I've read through the previous post regarding cutting drag bars to fit the slide throttle, however I was curious if anyone had thoughts on replacing the throttle control entirely. I've looked online and it seems the best (most) likely option would be to retro fit a single cable atv/dirt bike type throttle control. See here -> http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/partno/01-0304/ The link points to a throttle kit designed for a 1970 Honda atc 90. Thoughts? I realize this may not be the best option in control, but I figured an example would help. In my opinion this seems as if it would be much easier than trying to cut out the slide channel.
