My thanks again. You really know your "stuff". So if I'm reading you correctly, the stator in the parts bike will work in the Hawk? I will be testing as per your instructions.

If the stater has threaded parts for the cover screws to fit it is good for the CB/ZCL72/77 engines.
Test for all wires to OHM to each other but not to the aluminum case. ..................lm
