Can someone show me an up-close picture of what the stopper or lock that holds the brake cable at the front hub?(the one attached or welded to the hub itself)
Mine was broken off and i need to weld a new one in place before restoring the hub...thanks. Marlon

I am sure you did a very clean install, but are you sure you can trust a weld in this application. There is a lot of force applied to the bracket under hard braking...

I do allot of aluminum welding here at the shop and in the case of the brake cable bracket I would Tig it and I know it would be strong BUT that being said I would still advise any of my customers to go get a good used part. I just don't like taking a risk for the sake of a few bucks and ones safety. Paul
