a few words about the bike:
its a 1966 bike with haggon shocks and a 1963 engine, i made the seat with a friend out of the ass end of and old cb77 gas tank and had it upholstered by an amazing young woman here in portland oregon, built a custom LED tail light for the end of the seat that mounts inside of the hump and shines through finely placed drilled holes, handlebars/mufflers and tank side panels all ceramic coated black. Rebuilt early speedo. the seat, fenders and headlight bucket are all raw steel with a wax coating. when i rebuilt the engine i X'd the gears, and bored her to .75 over. the battery is a 'ballistic lithium ion' battery that measures 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/2, very small and all tucked up under the seat hump. I'm currently in the process of wiring up the electric starter again so i don't break another side cover and have to shell out another $200 for one, (or destroy my knee again while breaking itagain) I custom built a side riding tool box with a copper lid that mounts to the frame with bolts and leather straps. also tucked the ignition switch up higher when i got rid of the original battery mount before i painted it black. I also made the tank badges with my own custom laser engraved insignia.
thanks again for all the help.

I was looking around at those Ballistic EVO2 batteries... this the one you're talking about? The little red one? How has that been for you so far? Was it just plug and play? Seems cool, but not sure if all that new power technology is totally compatible with the old stuff? -very inexperienced
