Seat spring size/replacement?

I have a 1964 250 Dream and I noticed that one of the upper middle (smaller) coiled springs is missing along with the U clip where it attaches to the upper seat crossbar.

I am unaware of any source where it is available (even tho I see eBay listings for entire duplicate repro seats). I contacted a seat rebuilder, who would not even consider selling me one spring.

I guess I could buy a rebuilder seat and just rob one of the springs, but, before I do, does anyone know if a CA77 or maybe a 150cc Baby Dream seat spring would be the same, since seat frame size would not matter in my case.

As an alternative, if anyone can refer me to a source to buy one spring, that would be fine as well.
