cb77 jettingcb77 jettingHi, I'm looking for some help jetting a 64 cb77. It is stock except for uni filters and a JC whitney megaphone exhaust. I have a 135 main and a 42 idle jet now, but it has a bad hesitation. If anyone has a good starting point I would appreciate it.
Re: cb77 jettingDo you have the timing set right? Try moving the needle up or down.

I have tried the needle in all positions. Needle in the highest position seems to be best, but still hesitates. It has the electronic ignition and timming is set right. The bike was restored a while ago and I couldnt get it running right then and I am going to start from scratch and rebuild the carbs again. I am hoping to get a good starting point on jetting. I also wonder about air leaks around the slides. The bike sat for 30 years and the slides were frozen in the bore. Had to soak them to free them up and I know there was a air leak around the slides through the cables but it seems to me that there is bound to be some leakage since the cable is not sealed..Any other info would be great and thanks for the reply
