Clutch Identification & Help

I've been reading through all the clutch debates and disections but still having trouble understanding which setup it is I actually have...

5 steel rings with relief cuts
+ 1 first steel ring that is secure on the basket center

6 friction plates

2 grooves in the side of the basket center
+ 1 groove the first steel ring sits in

Any information would help me understand my clutch more and decide what I may or may not want to upgrade in the future. What are main characteristics of a Cush Drive? What does 6 friction plates mean?

Additionally, when I have the main basket part in my left hand and can grip the primary sprocket in my right hand... I do feel about .5mm rotational play on the sprocket. If I understand correctly, any play in the primary sprocket is probably game over but this play feel SO slight that I wonder if I'm even imagining it... otherwise, all these parts look like they are in great shape... any opinions?

I should note the clutch has been ridden without problems of my knowledge, except for when the shift drum stopper somehow got loose, caught itself behind the primary sprocket underneath the primary chain, and seized everything up. I'm thinking this was a freak happening to an otherwise good clutch. I had to open her up to fix this but now am looking to learn more about my clutch while I'm in there.

You have a clutch setup just like on my '62 CB77. I replaced it with a cush drive unit. If your sprocket has movement your basket is toast. Plenty of clutch units found on ebay.

Thanks Tom, do you any have pics of your cush drive unit for visual comparison? I'm unclear how to distinguish one over the regular, at least to spot one to buy...
