Two plus years, a few busted knuckles and a lot of e-bay time and its on the road. Not the traditional dream restore but my son wanted a cafe bike and I didnt want his first bike to go 150mph. Let me know what you think.

I didn't know what to expect, but I like your bike!! That thing looks bad and is an inspiration for guys with bikes that need lots of parts to get them to original....

Thanks for the nice comments, it was pretty much a total to begin with and most of the expensive parts were missing. We did the whole thing for less than $1100 including the original price of the bike. It might not look like it but it is really comfortable and a blast to ride.

Clean up those old tires and e-bay them, they are not available anywhere. Might get some of your investment back.

Where did you get that seat? It really fits well.

Tank badges should be reversed (unless its like that on purpose)?
