Maybe the frame has been repainted at one time or another.....I thought the numbers were stamped after the frame had been painted. Looks like there is paint in the number detents. Is there something else I need to be looking for and am not seeing. Educate me further, not sure that the frame numbers are the correct stamps used on the originals.
