Solid copper spark plug wires

Post by Tinman » Tue Oct 09, 2012 6:39 pm

I'm having difficulty tracking down some solid copper core spark plug wires here locally. I've found some solid core stainless steel wire (non supression), will this work?

I need them sooner than what mail order can provide, that's why i ask.

Thanks,
Tinman

If you can find a "Parts Unlimited" dealer nearby, they sell 7mm, 19-strand copper core wire that is just right. Part # 01-114-1 should be about $.45 a foot...

No sweat! I've used a lot of that wire with good result but I haven't bought any in a couple of years, so I checked the website to make sure they still carried it and the dealer locator was right there - couldn't resist! Customer service - that's what we're all about here on the 305 site, and another good reason to add your location to your profile!
