Winterizing fuel tank...

OK, so I'm putting her (65 Dream 305) away for the winter. What should I do with the fuel tank? How do I keep it in tip top shape till spring arrives?

If you are running unleaded fuel I suggest Sea Foam at the manufacturer's recommended rate.Greener

You have winter in Southern California?

A full tank and some Stabilizer should do the trick. I intend to ride at least once in a while when it's not raining, which should be good enough.

Since it only snows here once every 15 or 20 years (and probably less often where your at) winter is really only a frame of mind.

Winterish. I'm also conisdering selling her as I just don't ride or show her enough. Seems right now like a shiny, expensive garage ornament.

I guess times and people have changed cause when I lived in Garden Grove I road the bike all year long.
Even got wet several times!. ............lm

It has become not a question of whether I can ride, it's whether I will ride. Just don't find the time often enough to let such a nice bike sit there and collect dust. My hope when I drove 500 miles to pick it up was that I'd ride it at least a couple times a month, maybe show it here and there, and that has not happened. Club soccer for three kids has really taken a (much enjoyed) bite out of my free time.
