Dream shocks

Post by poptheclutch » Fri Nov 23, 2012 2:28 pm

HI just joined the forum. I have a 65 dream I'm starting to restore. Has anyone taken the rear shocks apart ? I have the cover & spring off, but I can't see how the rod comes out.

Welcome to the forum.

Check out my posts here. If your shocks do not have the slotted screw top they will be crimped or swaged and will need a machined to dismantle them and remake the top end. Better to source an older type that can be dismantled.
