I had a single nipple break ( a week after putting on a new tire of course). I know I can get a full set on ebay, but hopefully someone here has A spare

what caused the nipple to break? how did it fail? head? threads? I would suspect the whole works at this point and rebuild the wheels. I'm not being AR here or fussy. I've seen spoke failure before and It's usually not just one. fix it. spoke failure is not just some cosmetic issue, it can hurt you.

it broke in my garage when moving it off the stand and a handle from a jack that I didnt see was in the spokes. the spoke was barely bent, but it snapped the nipple in half

it doesnt look like the spokes are the same on the CA vs CB 77's. I have no idea on the nipples as they are no listed as a separate part. Does anyone have a sole CB 72/77 nipple?
