1959 C71 In need of some TLC
Here's my latest purchase. quite an odd duck. If anyone know's where to find sidecovers I'll be very appreciative! Not sure what to do with it, maybe make it into a mailbox or mount it on the roof of the shop... Paul

Paul,
Did this bike come with a Dalmatian? Speaking of side covers can you explain the filler tube on this cover???

Paul, my guess would be that they were filled 3/4 full of water, then compressed air to 125psi. Do they have a shrader valve on top? A place that refills scuba tanks may be the best bet for the first air fill, and they do them in a tank, under water in case they blow. They may want nothing to do with them of course!
