what kind of condition is that grab rail in? need new chrome?

The bar has decent chrome but has rust under the attachment tabs. Maybe the attached pics will help.

I just noticed a hole behind the right side attachment tab. Is that supposed to be there? Looks like it was drilled.

Because of your statement I noticed there were no loops on the right side so that hole and another near the front is where HONDA ran the tail light wires on the first/early CL72 bikes. ....lm
