I'm changing the oil and am taking this opportunity to address a few small leaks. I'm wondering about the washers used on the underside of the case. (Honda part # 94101 - 06000).
Are they copper? Stainless steel?
These are the small washers that partner with the regular bolts. Not to be confused with the larger copper washers that seal the studs.
And did anyone use Hondabond or Yamabond or Permatex around those washers to make a tight seal?
Help appreciated.

Washers on underside of case
Those are plain 6mm flat washers. If the cases were assembled properly, there is Hondabond around all of those holes where the cases come together. In other words, they are sealed from the inside and oil should not get to the M6 bolt heads. I guess you could take them out one at a time and see if the insides of the holes are dry, but my guess would be that the oil is coming from somewhere else like maybe the crush washer (32) under the special nut on that page or the copper washers you mentioned. How much oil are we talking about?
