I figure most of you guys will probably hate this, but i thought I'd share anyways.  You can be honest with me, i've got thick skin.
The hump for the seat is made from a mold I made of my tank, so it matches the contour perfectly, and the seam/ridge down the tank carries on down the seat hump.

I think it will look good.  I suspect that the contour of the seat pad will have a lot to do with the visual effect of the whole seat.  
This give me some ideas for the seat I am going to be building for my cafe project.
