early top fork bolt

Post by alan curtis » Tue Oct 01, 2013 9:05 am

on the 1961 bike the very first 300 had a different set of forks, the top bolt was large and had a dished part in the centre, i liked the look of those so had, PHIL DENTON, in the uk make me some to fit the second type of forks with the oil seal type bolt, they have been done in stainless steel, which you dont have to worry about getting chromed.. they have turned out really good . well pleased..

Somewhere in all the parts I've acquired over the years I think I have a set of those, always wondered what they were for!
