1965 CA77 serial 10091XX clutch friction plates

Post by fsereno » Mon Oct 28, 2013 7:22 pm

All, first time posting so be nice. Picked up a 1965 CA77 13k miles and my mechanic says I need new clutch plates. 5 total. I'm having a hard time determining which plates to order. There seem to be several sites to buy yet I'm seeing different stock numbers and plate thickness. Can you recommend what I should purchase? Thank you!

May I ask you to go to where you joined the forum and add your location.
Next we could help better if you add the engine number as the parts changed as the bikes were issued.
I recommend the 020 friction disc as they were the LAST ones issued for the engine. .............lm

Thanks for the reminder. Profile updated with location. I am in Kansas City. The engine number is CA77E 1009117. If I go with your recommendation on the 020, are you really talking about SKU 22201-268-020 Thickness 3mm? Or, should I go with the 22201-266-000 CLUTCH FRICTION DISC 4mm?
