Case Assembly Sealer
Getting ready to assemble the upper & lower engine cases and would like to have some recommendations from those knowledgeable engine assemblers out there as to what I should use for the sealer between the cases (engine is a 305). Silver's book says "Three Bond", but does not say which Three Bond product, there are several. I have also read that "Hondabond 4" or "Hondabond HT" can be used. My preference would be Permatex 27B Hi-Temp RTV, as I already have an unopened tube. All of these sealants appear to be silicone-based, and I realize that whatever is used is done so sparingly. Thanks for any suggestions.

Case Seal
I've used Permatex gasket seal for over 35 years on air cooled rebuilds and never once had a failure....
