These are the Overlander mufflers. Great quality.Tinman wrote:Or these, works out to be around $530.00us.
Sorry, but I couldn't locate a photo. My understanding is that they're like OEM with the exception the baffle is built into the muffler and not removable.

Yep, what a sound! I get goose bumps thinking about how they made some bikes sound.....G-Man wrote:Steve
How 'right' you are. My Daytona T100T sported reverse-cones as did my brother's 1968 CB250. You could hear him from 2 miles away!
This is an old pic of one of my project C72s. It is unusual in that it had the crazy 'bug-eye' winkers but look at those meggas. It looks a heap but must've sounded fantastic.

FYI, and as a side dish here, those front winkers were Northern European market -- well, Germany and Norway, AFAIK -- where they had to conform to those countries' road regulations, being 'this' height and 'that' distance off-centreline.
A couple of riding buddys in the 60's had 650 Triumphs with open reverse cones and they were awesome sounding!e3steve wrote:Yep, what a sound! I get goose bumps thinking about how they made some bikes sound.....G-Man wrote:Steve

Yes....if I could just weld stainless, I'd be in business!e3steve wrote:Wow, Brew, they certainly seem to fabricate a comprehensive range of goodies! Cool!!
I keep dreaming of a set of 4 of those on my 750/4!
It's not even hard to imagine a set on a Hawk, or even a staggered set on a Scrambler!
