Hi Guys ..just started a new project and could use some help ...not sure of the year ? frame sn#C78 101425 engine C77E 101425.I normally restore corvettes...Don't even Ride a bike , but these are really cool any help would be appreciated.

plan is to go to bare metal and start over. I believe its a 64

So in the car world I can assume its Numbers matching ? only paid $ 400 had it Running within 1/2 hour after getting it home ......The fenders have been cut and I was wondering do I order parts for a C78 or a C77 ..............is the CA version an American version and what interchanges ? Thanks for the replies.
Sorry for so many questions but I don't want to Disrespect what it is.
any advise as to where to purchase parts ....I will load a photo when I can figure it out.

eBay is your friend for most parts. C78 was just a change of numbers and was pretty much the same bike as a C77 hence the engine number. C78 came in around mid '63 so avoid frame parts earlier than that.

Once you send in pictures we will all be able to chip in with comments / help. Try and find a parts manual and workshop manual and look out for Bill Silver's restoration guide under the literature section in the yellow bar to the left of this page.

Thank for the help ...had pc issues had to purchase a new one.
Ebay has been my friend ...bike has been striped , found new fenders and seat will post picks if I can figure it out, thanks again.
