PE carbs on cb77?

Post by Jlovvorn » Sat May 03, 2014 6:45 pm

Has anyone ever tried a PE series carb on their 305?

If so, which size?

I have the PE22 on my 160 and it did a world of good, but I presume they are too small for my 305. I know I will have to rig up some kind of intake.

And yes, I should just fix the stock carbs, blah blah blah.... I have been fighting with them for three years, and am done with it. If anyone likes self-torture wants them, I will send them to you for a very low price.

Thanks for any advice!

CB77 uses 26mm carbs but it looks like you have a choice of 24s and 28s with those.....

I am running the amals, but have never gotten them quite right. They don't like to idle and they tend to run weak and hesitate.
