I sifted through the old posts and I would just like some verification beofre I spend $$.
1966 CA77 with no spark. I have the key in the correct position and all electrical works (thanks steve). I took the cover off of the points and I see no spark on them when I try to start the bike. I THINK I should see something there, please correct me if I'm wrong.
If I am correct above, is my condenser bad? What would my next steps be to get the old beast running?
Thanks,
John
BTW, not sure who put this forum together, but THANK YOU! It's been a huge help already and I just got started.

Job, The condenser is a good start, but first check to see if you have battery voltage at the ignition side of the coil. If not then look elswhere. If you do then you will need to test the condenser.Do you have an analog style ohm meter to check it with? You'll need one to do that. Good Luck and let us know what you find. Kustommusic Oh, and that would be Michael Stoic, 305 lover and all around great guy!
