front suspension

Good day, I have been riding my Dream for a few years now and it seems to be getting more bouncy on the front end. I know it has a leading link suspension but how do you adjust or rebuild the tension, I'm about 230 and when I hit the manholes in the middle of the street I bounce to the next one (no laughing). Just wondering if there is a replacement or if there is an adjustment. I don't want to take the front wheel off and find out there's nothing I can do. Looking at the sites I haven't found anything but you guys must have run into this before. Please let me know.

There's no adjustment, just two spring loaded shocks. The seals in the shocks could be bad. I'm not sure about resealing them, haven't had that problem yet.

Mine has been a bouncer since I got it in 81. I just always figured that's why it was called a dream, cause it just floated and bounced along. both ends of mine are that way, and it was a low mile bike when I got it. I just accept it as part of the ride.

Add a 3/4 to1 inch spacer to front fork springs, makes all the difference in the world.
