Levers and perches...

I have used those perches on several bikes. aside from the mirror issue, the finish is not right. I usually blast/sand/polish them to get a good finish. also the supplied pivot bolts are plated, not chrome. the lever profile is surprisingly OK for dreams and CB's.

Yes they do have a rather cheap, shiny, "bling" look that needs knocking back.

Not sure there is enough meat in an M10 bolt to drill and tap to M8. Might be easier to tap a small pice of bar M8 one end and M10 the other. Then put a piece of M10 stud in the hole and screw the "adapter" on to it....

I'm sure you could do that with your skill and milling machine (I saw your oil pump mod.), but I'm just a woodworker with a shaky bench-top drill press.
I might just look for some nice 10mm mirrors.

Well, yes, I could knock something up pretty quickly, but as you say, I have some nice workshop tools... :-)

I am actually having the exact same issue. My set does not have the black rubber on them though. I made sure to get aftermarket mirrors that would thread into the stock mount which apparently is now the wrong size. :/
