Great stories! You meet the nicest people on and with a Honda. You meet even nicer, more interesting people on an old Honda.
Today, I am taking Keith, my new colleague from Atlanta, to the Duxford air show. We are only there Saturday so we miss the two Lancasters, but we get to see the only flying Vulcan.....

The weather is going to be good and the fun even better....!

A flying example of a Vulcan? That would be something to see! As would a Lancaster. I did get to see "FiFi", the only flying example of a B-29, at the airport where I work a month or two ago. Old airplanes are every bit as cool as old motorcycles!

Well - we had to wait until 5pm but it did turn up and it was just incredible. The commentary said £20m to restore and £2m a year to maintain. Worth every penny, but I think I'll have to stick with old Honda's for now... :-)

Wow....
The story with FiFi is I came to work for a night shift one evening. As I was climbing the stairs to our second floor quarters (which overlooks the main ramp at Salinas Airport) I noticed a couple of warbirds, Little Friends (P-51's) sitting on the ramp. That's not all that unusual, there is facility on the airport who work on those airplanes. I walked into the living room, and the day pilot said "Look out the window"...and there sat this:
