Need clarification on the statement above. The cylinder base is the bottom of the cylinder. The base gasket goes between the case and the bottom of the cylinder. If you truly put the o-rings here and not between the head and the cylinder top it will leak like a sieve.deafanddiabetic wrote: installed O-Rings on the two posts on the cylinder base

Sorry about that guys, I put the O-Rings on those knock pins, I used the fiche to figure out where they went.
BUT, I did just find the source of the leak. It's coming from the bottom left corner of the camshaft cover. I put a new gasket on there, cleaned up the surfaces well and tried reputting in the 4 screws that hold it in place, but they're pretty stripped out. That's making it leak LESS, but I think I need to go buy some hex heds to really torque that sucker down.
This is where the leak was/is.
