1.0 mm oversize should not require larger jets

I need to have the choke up pretty far to keep my 305 running when cold - nothing new there but after warming and I put the choke down the engin wants to die off at 0-3/4 throttle. good response at 3/4 throttle and up. Too much air in idle mix?, therefore the previous question on larger pilot jets needles are set at middle notch, slides synced, everything real clean. Using Emgo pod filters and these might be junk??

Not that hard to try one size up pilots.
Even if it tells you you're wrong, that eliminates one thing.

Ok now we know the setup. Pods will make a difference. If you have larger pilot jets try them. If not try raising the needles which I feel sure you will have to do anyway. This will address the off idle/midrange and to an extent idle.
