Detecting oil pressure...

Is there a way to determine if oil is being pumped?
Perhaps by removing the valve inspection caps and running the starter motor?

Search this site. I think I have read at least one post that suggested loosening the outside acorn nuts on top of the cylinder.

You may want to just pull the oil pump and inspect the insides. I got a refurbished one from LM for a very reasonable price.

1. Check to see if you have oil in the crankcase.
2. Start it up.
3. If you see oil leaking from the cylinder head acorns or the head gasket, you have pressure.
