Got some work done last night. Started stripping the gas tank. 3 layers of paint. An ugly blue, a purplish gold flake, and the original black. I am using citristrip and it seems to work ok. Also was able to get the headlight out. Mine is missing the screws that hold the headlight in the bucket, and the speedo in the bucket. Anyone have the correct sizes for those? Also started removal of the front fender. Got every bolt out except the ony from the brake stay to the left fork. It has some sort of clip that keeps me from being able to get a socket on the bolt. Any ideas there?

Perfect. It is pretty rust so hopefully it does not snap on meGoodysnap wrote:That keeps the bolt from backing out. Bend it back to get on it. Bend it back against the flat of the bolt after reinstalling.jugger18 wrote: It has some sort of clip that keeps me from being able to get a socket on the bolt. Any ideas there?
