Racing Piston replacement

I'm replacing the stock pistons on my 66 CB77 with Kenig racing pistons that feature higher compression. My question is: Will this have an impact elsewhere on the engine such as timing, valves, etc.?

I have seen those kenig pistons just barley hit the spark plug. It depended on which way the electrode was turned. You might want to relieve an area on the piston to prevent this.
