wiring harness help

Guys..........I tape off and mark all my wiring before sending my 305 ca77 dream to the painter and what does he do? Takes off my tape and paints my wires. I've removed all the paint I can and cut back the covering, but things don't match up looking at the diagram. Were these diagrams always accurate? Does any have a real diagram of a '67 Honda dream 305 ca77?

I have just finished the wiring on my CA77 and used this diag
The bk/y wire from the switch to the rear light was white on mine.

THAT is awesome! I am all thumbs when it comes to figuring out where stuff goes in my Dream - you don't have one for a CA95, do you...? I'd like to find something like this for an aftermarket wiring harness that shows you what color goes to what...

Hi. Great diagram. I have it but not in color. I have a 67 305 dream with a short.. It occurred when I switched the dimmer switch all the way down. How do I get to that fuse to check it?

There is only one fuse and its next to the battery.

What you may have is a wire that has some of its insulation rubbed off as it passes through the handlebars.
