So trying to get this full restore bike to run and having some issues. Now went to set the points and something seems very wrong. First off the points plate seems yo make no difference where the light comes on. Second the light is on for half of the stroke.
Thanks

Isn't that backwards? So confused right now haha.

I was using a Dream single points specific how to. Not sure where I got it from but I will try and use his tonight. I adjusted the plate after setting gap but location in which the light opened did not change. Tonight hopefully I will make some progress on it.
As for wiring to the coil pack I have a black going to positive attachment and the green to the condenser. Originally had that backwards for some reason but corrected that mistake last night.

Just throwing birds in the air, but you said you were following the Dream points adjustment; do you by any chance have a hawk or scrambler that uses 360 degree crank instead of 180? Not sure if that'd make a difference or not.
