WTB Rear Brake Stay Bolt for CA78 ('64). FOUND

Post by Seadog » Wed Aug 19, 2015 5:30 pm

I'm searching for the brake stay bolt that fits into the arm of the rear brake panel (not the bolt that fits into the swing arm). Who would have thought that it would be so elusive?

Is it the one that takes a cotter pin? Have one here.

Yes, it takes a cotter. The other one takes a spring clip. I also believe it has a thinner head.

If you have one you'd be willing to part with, Mike, send me a PM, please.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look as if my friend Mike has what I need. Still looking.

Thanks, G. I'll keep looking, but it's nice to know I might have a backup plan.

Enjoy your trip.
