OK, so this is as far as I've got, cobbled this up using the very short piece of original that came with the bike for reference, & using dimensions kindly provided from this forum.
I'm using the original centre fork-stay, but have yet to fabricate the other two, does it look something like, or is it 'wrong' somewhere, are the sides too deep? I don't think its too far off, & once the stays are made & fitted it may look better??
I don't think the section is too far off as the original fork-stay fits perfect.
Suggestions welcomed.

Hi model man,
Great to see your updates and very impressed by the standard of your work. Your reconstructed mud guard looks pretty close, maybe a little too far from the tyre at the front but looks just right at the interface with the forks. Would you like to borrow an OEM mud guard for direct comparison? I've just finished my CB77 restoration and have a dismantled CB72 awaiting attention and am reasonably close by in Leeds if so PM me.

Great work. Did you roll that section yourself? If so that's a superb job. The stays will improve the look, but it's pretty close.
I would love to get an alloy one made for my '61 bike.

PhilD, thanks for your kind comments, 'the loan of a fender? NOW you tell me!!!
I didn't think there were any about, & yes it looks a bit out of alignment, but it should 'rock' on the centre bracket once the other braces are fitted.
G-Man, I did NOT roll the section, i'm nowhere near that good, but I DID 100% make it all myself,
& the actual radius may be out a bit as I had no reference , & oh yeah, i'm a terrible cheat, its not what it seems!!
