Works for me. Although it wasn't Hondabond.
Trans Prob Solved -Shift drum bracket installed upside down
I got it all back together checking shift functionality along the way. it works fine UNTIL i put the side cover on. the shift shaft has been snapped and rewelded by the previous owner. it is not concentric (by atleast .040", ~1mm) and i suspect that as it rotates it binds into the case hole its meant to spin in. I bought another assembly on ebay and will try that.
makes me wonder what the heck they did to this bike while that bracket was on upside down. i suspect someone rode it anyway just jamming away at the shifter. Im hoping nothing else is badly worn as well. the pins on the drum didnt look bad but i havent a clue what new looks like either. Steve

No other way to get it in without taking it all apart again, huh?
Man. I want to break things right now. I followed fiches, took pictures before tear down to follow when I put it together again. In fact, I remember that I couldn't get the retainer in the other way so it "made sense" that it fit on the bottom side. tu90 iolremniolvaermiopefqmigpo ewmiop rmipog wemipgo wrm9gcipow45gm 90[eiposdnb;okfcbn89pigjq89-t4q3j89gpiergnioegrn k;ersbmiposr;bje9r0[igow45j890[igow45mio;ger jkva k;lerigoeqj89-tq34ht0834niog;ernigo;gnio;kearkla,ar89-ewpcjrm89-24pq4j gpq 1964 CA72
