Finally found my "DREAM" CA77
Well I've been lurking on this forum for probably a year and have been looking for a Honda Dream for over 2yrs (I honestly wasn't "looking" too hard).
I finally found one in the condition I wanted it, running with minor issues. The main things it needs is a clutch adjustment and some carb work, previous owner used RTV as a seal on the carburetor. And the lights... well they don't work.
Only two things missing the carburetor covers and right hand mirror. I hope to have it road worthy before fall 2016.
I'll post pics later.
By the way what is different from a CA77 and CA77E?

Just updated my signature, I'm in Minneapolis, MN
I might place a few calls to get quotes to have a shop adjust the clutch and do the carb work. I've never done that type of work myself.

Love how these forums are always filled with the nicest people.
I certainly don't mind getting my hands dirty, so I might give it a try. I just ordered some parts.

Re: Finally found my "DREAM" CA77E
If you can find a shop you'll need someone with 50 years experience. Better,as LM says, to treat it as a learning excercise. Then if anything goes wrong out on the road, you will have the knowledge to fix things yourself.
