HONDA text Logos - Red or Plain?

I see a lot of Dreams with the HONDA logos (letters) painted red.
Was this something the factory did or is this a fun custom mod type thing?

I believe they were plain. I looked at a 1965 brochure, and it looks plain. Although, it looks sharp painted red too!!

The HONDA name on the Oil Filter cover. At least that is what I was talking about... ;^)

I didn't think so, but I think it looks sharp. However, I've never painted mine RED... ;^)

I have seen at least 2 bikes with the logos painted red on the rear shock bracket.
