Don't know about a 'cutting-edge' but its simply a double-row of 6mm rubber strips to prevent the steel blade from damaging the block-paving, not my idea however, I nicked the idea from googling images of ploughs, then made it up as I went along from junk laying around the workshop, I also fitted a couple of castors just to be on the safe-side. Where "the rubber hits the road"....literally in your case. Looks like an idea for my blower also, as it scratched up the asphalt surface of my driveway pretty well last season. Also looking into some "plastic" versions, but they look kind of expensive. 66 dream, 78 cb750k, 02fz1, 09 wing
