Exhaust diameter / fishtail mufflers

Hey all,

I'm looking to source and install a set of fishtail mufflers on my 63.

Does someone know the header diameter at the joint under the footpeg ?

As that's where I'm assuming the new mufflers would slip on ?

I get the diameter of the header pipe at the muffler junction at 1.5"or 38mm.

Yes !

I installed them and they sound great !

Nice growl...fairly loud.

I'll post up some pics later today.

They're straight pipes so yeah...they're a bit "loud"
