In the past I always bought kits from Terry at RetroBikes with never a problem, but he is gone now. the last three I have bought off ebay from Peanut as well and no troubles. I just this morning took apart one that has had gas in it for two weeks and it is flowing just fine. the only problem I have had with his kits is the bowl gasket is a bit too small, causing leaks if not seated properly.
Good luck
Randy

Re: Fuel cock kits
What petcock did you get specifically? I am having these same problems but thought it was just something specific I was doing wrongG3 wrote:I got mine off of eBay. "peanut8500" is the seller. I was or thought I was cursed with the leaking petcock syndrome, until I used this kit. No trouble whatsoever. Installed it in February this year, and all has been good.

I used the kit from Scrambler Cycle....not an aftermarket fuel tap complete.
