Hey guys,
I had just finished putting my Dream back together after dropping the motor. Everything seems back to normal (or at least back to previous) except I just realized that my clutch doesn't seem to want to release (pulling in the clutch lever does not disengage).
I remembered to watch out for the little ball bearing inside the clutch mechanism when I pulled off the side cover so when putting everything back together I placed a bit of grease in with the ball thinking it would hold it in while I reassembled everything.
But now, like I stated above, the clutch will not disengage. I have a feeling that the ball bearing has fallen back out while I was doing my thing. But the clutch lever doesn't seem to have lost any tension. I would think that if I did indeed loose the ball bearing that the clutch lever would have a la bit of slack in it - or at least feel looser than previous. I would hate to pull the cover back off again as I had a terrible time trying to get the brake pedal back on and dialed in.
So my question is, does this situation sound like I did indeed loose the ball bearing despite of the normal feeling clutch lever? and if so, can anyone confirm that the ball bearing needed is a 5/16" size as is on the Superhawk?
Thanks again!
Jason
