Yes, I was mistakenly thinking this was due to a fouling plug and as you rightly taught me - you gotta get the valve and ignition timing right before looking at the carb. ;-)
Hmm, strange one. Plugs seemed to be gapped correctly. You say the problem is not transfering to the other side when you change the plug lead and plug cap? What sort of plug caps are you using - could one be faulty?Mkaz54 wrote:Thanks muddy,
The plug thats not firing is soaked with fuel, I was playing with it a little more tonight and put in a fresh plug. It started right up and was running good at high rpm's, when I try and let it idle.... the left side stops firing. I can tell by the sound and looking at the tailpipe, when I give it gas, it comes back on....I'm sratching my head.
