Gunson Colortune / 14mm Adapter

Does anybody have a Gunson Colortune, and does it work?

The concept looks pretty cool, and everything online is inconclusive, but after much research I pulled the trigger anyway.

I bought the 12mm one, which should fit my CA's, but I don't know if I need a 'long-reach' 12mm one for the CA's I have; any ideas?

Does anybody know the difference between a 14mm and 14mm 'taper' adapter?

I'm also hunting a 12mm into 14mm adapter for the aforementioned Colortune, if anybody has one they don't want or need.

I got one a while back, but never was able to tune successfully with it.

May dig it out and try it again on a 16 hp kohler I've been tinkering with.

I don't remember needing anything that wasn't in the kit to use it on the 305.

The taper refers to how the plug seals against the head. Our bikes use a gasket seat plug while taper seat plugs are usually found in automobile applications.
